Current Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chicken Meat, Cooking Oil, and Onions Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (28/6/2024) at 10:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, farmer-level corn, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, shallots, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chili peppers saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,850 (6.21%) to Rp31,650 per kg. Chicken eggs experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp1,000 (3.51%) to Rp27,500 per kg.
