Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Salt Down (Sunday, December 3, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (3/12/2023) at 10:31 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil (simple packaging), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, fine iodized salt, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp820 (2.21%), reaching Rp37,920 per kg. Fine iodized salt experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp340 (3.08%), reaching Rp10,700 per kg.
