10 Million Taxpayers Have Activated Coretax Accounts by the End of 2025

Starting in 2026, the submission of Annual Tax Returns (SPT) in Indonesia will be carried out through a new digital tax administration system called Coretax.

According to data from the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance (DGT MoF), as of December 30, 2025, 10.22 million taxpayers have activated their Coretax accounts.

Of these, 9.33 million are individual taxpayers, 805.6 thousand are corporate taxpayers, 88.2 thousand are government agencies, and 221 are Electronic System-Based Trading (PMSE) businesses.

Overall, this number is still below the DGT MoF's target of 14 million taxpayers activating their Coretax accounts.

Rosmauli, Director of Extension, Services, and Public Relations at the DGT MoF, urged taxpayers to immediately activate their accounts and create an Authorization Code or Electronic Certificate (KO/SE) in the Coretax system.

She explained that the account activation and KO/SE creation process can be done independently by following the guidelines available on the official DGT tutorial link.

"In principle, taxpayers can activate their accounts and create KO/SE in Coretax before utilizing Coretax tax services," said Rosmauli in Announcement Letter Number PENG-54/PJ.09/2025.
