Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt and Sugar Prices Rise (Tuesday, January 30, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (30/1/2024) at 11:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, medium-grain rice, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybeans (import), shallots, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up Rp1,760 (5.29%) to Rp35,030 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease, down Rp530 (6.21%) to Rp8,000 per kg.
