The Nusantara Capital City Authority (IKN) has reported securing investment commitments through the Government-Business Cooperation (KPBU) scheme, totaling Rp158.73 trillion.
Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, explained that out of this large total investment, only Rp5.63 trillion has reportedly been approved by Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.
"So, IKN's development is not only funded by the state budget (APBN), but there are KPBU projects totaling Rp158.73 trillion, of which Rp5.63 trillion has been approved by the Minister of Finance," Basuki stated during a working meeting with Commission II of the House of Representatives (DPR) on Monday (November 25, 2025).
He detailed that 17 business entities are interested in investing in IKN. Specifically, two housing KPBU projects have been approved.
Additionally, there are 9 prospective initiators for Housing KPBU and 6 prospective initiators for Road and Multi-Utility Tunnel (MUT) KPBU.
Here is a list of 17 investors interested in KPBU projects in IKN:
1. Approved Housing KPBU (Rp5.63 trillion):
Intiland: Rp2.89 trillion to build 109 landed houses and 41 apartment units (rusun)
Nindya Karya: Rp2.74 trillion to build 8 apartment towers
2. Prospective Housing KPBU (Rp58.68 trillion):
PT Daya Mulia Turangga (DMT): 11 apartment towers
Ciputra: 10 apartment towers and 20 landed houses
Adhi Karya will build 8 apartment towers
IJM: 20 apartment towers
Samsung with Brantas Abipraya: 21 apartment towers
Maxim Properties: 10 apartment towers
PJ-IC International: 20 apartment towers
Hutama Karya: 10 apartment towers
Triniti Land: 5 apartment towers
3. Prospective Road and MUT KPBU (Rp94.42 trillion):
SMV: plans to undertake the Road and MUT Development Project in WP-2 with a total length of 17.67 km, estimated investment value of Rp16.35 trillion
China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC): road and MUT development project in SWP-1B with a total length of 31.36 km, estimated investment value of Rp27.7 trillion
Adhi Karya: road and MUT development project in SWP-1A and WP-2 spanning 15.48 km with an estimated investment value of Rp9.8 trillion
Nindya Karya with Brantas Abipraya: road and MUT development project in SWP-1A with a total length of 21.67 km and an estimated investment value of Rp6.6 trillion
HEC & IJM: road and MUT development project in SWP-IC with a length of 26.9 km and an estimated investment value of Rp24.4 trillion
Daya Mulia Turangga (DMT) Consortium: road and MUT development project in SWP 1A and SWP 1C spanning 21.04 km, with an estimated investment of Rp9.57 trillion.
