Indonesia's Business Sector GDP Grew in Q3 2025, Except for Mining

According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) report, Indonesia's gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp6,060 trillion in Q3 2025.

Measured at constant prices, Indonesia's GDP in Q3 2025 reached Rp3,444.8 trillion, growing 5.04% compared to Q3 last year (year-on-year/yoy). 

In Q3 2025, GDP growth occurred in almost all business sectors in Indonesia.

The highest growth was in the education sector, where its GDP increased by 10% (yoy).

Meanwhile, mining was the only sector whose GDP declined during this period.

The following is a breakdown of Indonesia's economic growth by business sector in Q3 2025, ordered from highest to lowest:

1. Education services: 10.59% (yoy)
2. Company services: 9.94% (yoy)
3. Other services: 9.92% (yoy)
4. Information and communication: 9.65% (yoy)
5. Transportation and warehousing: 8.62% (yoy)
6. Accommodation and food and beverage provision: 8.41% (yoy)
7. Health services and social activities: 6.83% (yoy)
8. Manufacturing industry: 5.54% (yoy)
9. Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles: 5.49% (yoy)
10. Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries: 4.93% (yoy)
11. Government administration, defense, and compulsory social security: 4.33% (yoy)
12. Construction: 4.21% (yoy)
13. Real estate: 3.95% (yoy)
14. Water management, waste, sewage, and recycling: 3.32% (yoy)
15. Electricity and gas supply: 2.86% (yoy)
16. Financial and insurance services: 0.77% (yoy)
17. Mining and quarrying: -1.98% (yoy)
