Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Price Update: Prices of Oil, Eggs, and Onions Down (Saturday, January 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (13/1/2024) at 09.14 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk), mackerel, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, premium rice, granulated sugar, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for bulk wheat flour, up by Rp790 (7.78%) to Rp10,950 per kg. The lowest price decrease was for iodized fine salt, down Rp1,550 (14.04%) to Rp9,490 per kg.
