According to data from the Bali Provincial Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of micro and small processing industry businesses/companies in Tabanan Regency has tended to increase from 2018 to 2023.

The growth momentum of micro and small processing industry businesses/companies in Tabanan Regency occurred in 2022, after previously experiencing a downward trend.

• 2019: 15,538 units
• 2020: 14,262 units
• 2021: 11,679 units
• 2022: 13,467 units
• 2023: 19,458 units

On Tuesday (July 29, 2025), the Bali Provincial Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise Service held a socialization activity on legal literacy for micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs.

The socialization was conducted to improve the understanding of MSME entrepreneurs regarding legal aspects relevant to business development, especially concerning intellectual property rights (IPR).
