Fresh Chicken Egg Prices in North Maluku Highest in Indonesia (Friday, February 25, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 29,480 per kg, data as of Friday, February 25, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 29,500 per kg.

The daily price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 45,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh chicken eggs in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, fresh chicken eggs were sold at Rp 42,000 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh chicken eggs in North Sumatra was Rp 31,900 per kg, Bali Rp 31,650 per kg, and North Kalimantan Rp 31,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are eight provinces with fresh chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh chicken eggs are Bangka Belitung Islands, East Java, and Central Java.
