Hasan Nasbi's Resignation as Head of the Presidential Communication Office

Hasan Nasbi resigned from his position as Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO).

He submitted his letter of resignation to President Prabowo Subianto through the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, and the Cabinet Secretary, Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya, on Monday, April 21, 2025.

In a video broadcast uploaded to the Instagram account @totalpolitikcom, Hasan stated his desire to give an opportunity to a better candidate to take over the role as PCO.

"We must also know our place and then make the decision to step aside," Hasan said in the broadcast, quoted on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

According to the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN) from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Hasan Nasbi is reported to have assets worth Rp41.33 billion in 2024.

The majority of his assets consist of cash and cash equivalents worth Rp17.69 billion. He also owns 9 plots of land and buildings valued at Rp13.96 billion. His properties are located in South Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor, and Sijunjung.

Hasan also owns transportation assets worth Rp9.51 billion and other assets totaling Rp735 million.

The reported transportation assets consist of five cars: a BMW X5 (2022), a Toyota Hiace (2018), a Mini Cooper S Hatch (2022), a Mercedes-Benz G 63 (2023), and a Honda Beat motorcycle (2021).
