Today's Food Prices (25/2) in DKI Jakarta: Garlic and Soybean Prices Rise

Some food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 5 decreased in price.

Commodities with price increases are Honan garlic, medium rice, imported soybeans, broiler chicken meat, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as curly red chili, premium rice, beef rump, large red chili, and bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Imported soybeans saw the highest jump of Rp300 (2.05%) to Rp14,900 per kg. Curly red chili prices dropped the most by Rp1,250 (2.31%) to Rp52,917 per kg.
