Indramayu Regent Lucky Hakim is under scrutiny after traveling to Japan without permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).
This is considered a violation of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government.
Article 76 states that regional heads are prohibited from traveling abroad without ministerial permission. As a result, Lucky faces potential dismissal for three months.
“If the sanction is indeed a three-month dismissal, I must accept it and face all the consequences,” said Lucky Hakim, as reported by *Antara* on Tuesday (8/4/2025).
Although he has undergone an examination at the Inspectorate General's office of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Indramayu Regent will only be sanctioned at the latest 14 days after the examination.
According to the KPK's State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN), Lucky Hakim had assets worth Rp10.7 billion in 2024. This report was submitted on August 16, 2024, when he was running for regent.
The majority of his assets come from land and buildings valued at Rp13.7 billion. This consists of 8 plots of land and buildings spread across Cianjur, Depok, Bekasi, and Indramayu.
He also has cash and cash equivalents of Rp675 million, other assets of Rp600 million, and transportation assets of Rp585 million.
Lucky is recorded as owning three cars: a Toyota Rush (2012), a Toyota Kijang Innova (2013), and a Peugeot RCZ (2011). He also owns a Honda Supra motorcycle (2003).
In addition, the Indramayu Regent's wealth includes other movable assets worth Rp433.5 million and securities worth Rp100 million. By the end of 2024, Lucky was reported to have debts totaling Rp5.38 billion.
