The Indonesian government has determined the amount of basic pensions for retired Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel through Government Regulation (PP) Number 19/2019.
This regulation stipulates the disbursement of allowances for widows/widowers, orphans, and the parents of deceased TNI members who died in the line of duty.
Furthermore, the regulation also sets the amount of pensions for TNI members who became disabled while on duty, with varying amounts depending on the severity of the disability.
It is important to note that this regulation only covers the basic pension amount and does not include other allowances such as food allowances, spouse allowances, and child allowances.
These allowances are determined based on rank and class. The lowest amount is received by rank I enlisted personnel (tamtama), ranging from Rp1,643,500 to Rp2,220,600 per member.
Other ranks include non-commissioned officers (bintara), first lieutenants (pama), middle-ranking officers (pamen), and the highest-ranking officers (pati).
