Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Prices of Chicken, Cooking Oil, and Rice Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (1/1/2025) at 10:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, garlic cloves, bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili, SPHP rice, red chili peppers, simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp450 (4.34%) to Rp10,810 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the largest price decrease of Rp2,840 (4.71%) to Rp57,410 per kg.
