Daily Red Chili Prices in Riau Province's Traditional Markets Increased by 47.27% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of red chilies in Riau Province's traditional markets has decreased by Rp 3,100 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 72,750.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp 49,400.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in Riau over the past three months has increased by 104.07% from the previously recorded price of Rp 35,650.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of red chilies in the province's traditional markets was in June 2019, with a 63.73% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2024, at -37.54%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau show three commodities decreased and ten others increased. The commodities with decreased prices are red chili peppers, medium-sized shallots, and garlic.
