Indonesia's Food Prices Today: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (February 11, 2025) at 13:34 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, premium rice, red chili peppers, medium rice, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

SPHP rice saw the highest price increase of Rp85 (0.68%) to Rp12,581 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,842 (3.47%) to Rp51,306 per kg.
