A Glimpse into the Wealth of Rosan Roeslani, Jokowi's New Investment Minister

President Joko Widodo appointed Rosan Roeslani as the new Investment Minister on Monday, August 19, 2024. Rosan replaces Bahlil Lahadalia, who has been appointed as the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

Prior to his appointment, Rosan served as the Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Head of the National Campaign Team for Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

According to his State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN), at the end of 2023, Rosan possessed assets worth Rp860.71 billion.

The majority of his assets consist of land and buildings valued at Rp511.19 billion, comprising 26 plots of land and buildings spread across Surabaya, Manggarai, West Manggarai, West Lombok, Denpasar, Klungkung, Badung, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta.

Rosan's other assets total Rp248 billion, including cash and cash equivalents of Rp61 billion, other movable assets of Rp18 billion, and securities worth Rp17 billion.

He also owns transportation assets worth Rp3 billion, consisting of a 2015 Toyota Alphard, a 2020 Lexus LM35, a VW 2962, and a 2001 Piaggio VSET 4 motorcycle.

As of the end of 2023, the new Investment Minister is recorded as having no debt.
