Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Prices of Cooking Oil, Eggs, and Sugar Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (9/6/2024) at 11:52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, iodized fine salt, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, medium rice, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,310 (4.18%) to Rp32,630 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp1,670 (4.02%) to Rp39,920 per kg.
