Gibran's Wealth During His Tenure as Mayor of Solo

Gibran Rakabuming Raka has resigned as Mayor of Solo. He stepped down to prepare for his inauguration as vice president, alongside Prabowo Subianto, who won the 2024 Presidential Election.

"Besides preparing for the inauguration on October 20th, there are certainly many things that need to be prepared now," said Gibran, as reported by *Antara* on Tuesday (July 16, 2024).

The eldest son of President Joko Widodo signaled that his duties will be continued by Teguh Prakosa, the Deputy Mayor of Solo.

"The Deputy Mayor will occupy (the Solo mayoral residence) later," said Gibran.

Gibran held the position of Mayor of Solo since his inauguration in February 2021.

According to the State Officials' Wealth Report of the Commission (LHKPN), at the beginning of his term until the end of 2021, Gibran had assets worth Rp25.29 billion.

Most recently, Gibran was reported to have assets worth Rp25.58 billion at the end of 2023. His largest assets consist of seven land and building plots spread across Solo and Sragen, with a total value of Rp17.33 billion.

He also owns seven vehicles worth Rp332 million, comprising four cars and three motorcycles. The vice president-elect is also recorded as having no debt.
