Food Prices Saturday (January 4th) Yogyakarta Special Region: Beef and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have been observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (4/1/2025) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, red chilies, chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, milkfish, shallots, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp10,350 (13.53%) to Rp86,870 per kg. Milkfish prices, on the other hand, saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp860 (2.22%) to Rp37,840 per kg.
