Lampung Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Thursday, February 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (1/2/2024) at 12:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, red chilies, farmer-level corn, granulated sugar, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, red onions, iodized fine salt, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp4,940 (9.77%) to Rp55,480 per kg. Red onions saw the lowest price decrease, falling Rp1,570 (5.76%) to Rp25,680 per kg.
