Today's Food Price List in Banten: Beef and Chili Prices Drop (Monday, April 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (1/4/2024) at 13.14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, broiler chicken meat, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for livestock-level corn, up by Rp1,040 (12.59%) to Rp9,300 per kg. The lowest price decrease was for fine iodized salt, down Rp1,070 (9.82%) to Rp9,830 per kg.
