Medium-sized Red Onion Prices in Traditional Markets, April 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:45 WIB, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in Jambi Province was observed to increase by Rp3,000 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp42,250 per kg.

Compared to the past month, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets has risen from the previously recorded Rp32,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, over the past three months, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in Jambi has increased by 24.63% from the previous trading price of Rp33,900 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with a 34.71% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2023 with a -28.93% decrease.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple commodities in Jambi show that eight commodities have decreased and 16 others have increased. The commodities with price decreases are Daily Red Cayenne Pepper in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium II Quality Rice, Garlic, Medium-sized Garlic, Daily Cayenne Pepper in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Green Cayenne Pepper in Traditional Markets by Province.

6. Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat per kg in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp31,750 (down 7.3%)
7. Super I Quality Rice per kg: Rp17,450 (unchanged)
8. Beef per kg in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp138,150 (up 0.91%)
