The price of low-quality rice type I in Maluku is Rp 16,200 per kg (Monday, February 26, 2024).

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 13,960 per kg for low-quality type I rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Monday, February 26, 2024. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 13,740 per kg.

The daily price of low-quality type I rice in Maluku's modern markets was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 16,200 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of low-quality type I rice in this province is higher; previously it was recorded at Rp 13,300 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, low-quality type I rice was sold at Rp 15,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of low-quality type I rice in North Sulawesi was Rp 15,550 per kg, Bali Rp 15,450 per kg, and Papua Rp 15,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, 13 provinces had low-quality type I rice prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for low-quality type I rice were Bengkulu, Jambi, and West Nusa Tenggara.
