Latest Food Prices in Central Kalimantan: Salt Up, Chilies Down (Sunday, January 21, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Kalimantan today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (21/1/2024) at 14:58 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, red chilies, chicken meat, red chilies, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,820 (4.27%) to Rp44,420 per kg. Red chilies had the lowest price decrease of Rp990 (1.74%) to Rp56,010 per kg.
