Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Employee Performance Allowances Increased in 2024

The Indonesian government has increased the performance allowance (tukin) for employees of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA). This policy is based on Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 71 of 2024, enacted on July 2, 2024.

The Perpres states that, "Based on the achievements of the bureaucratic reform implementation, the PPPA Ministry has met the criteria for an adjustment of its performance allowance."

This tukin is paid monthly to PPPA Ministry employees, with varying amounts based on position level.

The lowest tukin is for position level 1, at Rp2.53 million per month, up from Rp1.96 million per month.

The highest tukin is for position level 17, at Rp33.24 million per month, up from Rp26.32 million per month.

The Minister of PPPA, currently I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati, is entitled to a tukin of 150% of the highest amount, receiving Rp49.86 million per month.

The tukin is not given to employees without a specific position, those temporarily dismissed, or those dismissed from their organic position.

The tukin is also not given to employees on leave without government support, or those on leave for retirement preparation.

With this change, the previous regulations regarding the PPPA Ministry's tukin, namely Perpres Number 153 of 2015, are no longer valid.
