Lampung Region Food Prices Week of (8/9): Salt and Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (8/9/2024) at 14.11 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, iodized fine salt, shallots, skipjack tuna, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp360 (0.91%) to Rp40,020 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies fell the sharpest by Rp530 (1.84%) to Rp28,240 per kg.
