Indonesia's Daily Food Prices: Rice, Salt, and Egg Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (25/6/2024) at 13:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, milkfish, farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, mackerel, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp40 (0.71%) to Rp5,670 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili experienced the largest decrease of Rp1,960 (3.73%) to Rp50,560 per kg.
