Daily Prices of Large Red Chilies in Traditional Markets of Lampung Province Have Decreased by 5.15% Over the Past Month

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Lampung Province is recorded at Rp41,400. This price is down Rp1,850 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from Rp43,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Lampung over the past three months has fallen by 40.86%. According to historical records of food prices on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Lampung Province was traded at Rp70,000.

The record high for the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2017 with an increase of 33.26%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2019 with a decrease of -31.71%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Lampung show seven commodities decreased and nine others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases are Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chili Peppers, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Granulated Sugar, Green Chili Peppers, Chicken Meat, and Red Chili Peppers.
