Egg Prices in North Maluku Highest in Indonesia (Friday, March 4, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 28,210 per kg, data as of Friday, March 4, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 29,480 per kg.

The daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 45,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken eggs in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, the price of chicken eggs was sold at Rp 40,700 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken eggs in Gorontalo was Rp 31,350 per kg, North Sumatra Rp 31,200 per kg, and Central Sulawesi Rp 29,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are eight provinces with chicken egg sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for chicken eggs are Central Java, East Java, and West Kalimantan.
