Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Red Chili Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

The prices of several food ingredients in Jambi today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (21/10/2025) at 11:00 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include medium rice, farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, large red chili, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, dried soybean (imported), and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of large red chili increased the most by Rp1,667 (2.65%) to Rp64,667 per kg. The price of red cayenne pepper decreased the most sharply by Rp1,594 (3.88%) to Rp39,444 per kg.
