The price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in East Java Province has decreased by 11.54% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in East Java Province has decreased by Rp 100 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 26,450.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets has decreased from Rp 29,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in East Java over the past three months has increased by 3.93% from the previous price of Rp 25,450.

The highest record for the daily price increase of fresh chicken eggs in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2016 with a 27.7% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2017 with a -22.2% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Java show 12 commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Eggs, Medium-Sized Red Onions, Garlic, Red Onions, Medium-Sized Garlic, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Premium Sugar, Local Sugar, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, Sugar, and Large Red Chili.
