Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Cooking Oil, Chilies, and Rice Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (23/9/2024) at 10:22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, red onions, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase of Rp930 (7.93%), reaching Rp12,660 per kg. Red onions experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp2,390 (11.11%), reaching Rp19,120 per kg.
