Bali's Daily Food Prices: Cooking Oil Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (31/5/2024) at 12:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, granulated sugar, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp660 (4.36%) to Rp15,810 per liter. Red onion had the lowest price decrease, down Rp530 (1.35%) to Rp38,590 per kg.
