Latest Food Prices in Bali: Chicken Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (28/8/2024) at 09.07 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, dry soybean (import), corn at the farmer level, SPHP rice, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, fine iodized salt, curly red chilies, shallots, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,050 (9.54%) to Rp12,060 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp3,290 (12.83%) to Rp22,360 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp22,360 per kg (down 12.83%)
10. Shallots: Rp19,950 per kg (down 8.36%)
