Aceh Food Price Update Today: Rice Prices Drop (Saturday, December 30, 2023)

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2:42 PM WIB, out of 18 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, medium-grain rice, fine iodized salt, tongkol fish, and bandeng fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken meat, dry soybean (import), kembung fish, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Simple packaged cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp430 (2.5%) to Rp17,610 per liter. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,690 (4.54%) to Rp35,500 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 18 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas as of December 30, 2023, at 2:42 PM WIB.

2. Kembung Fish: Rp45,170 per kg (down 1.76%)
3. Shallot Bulb: Rp37,540 per kg (down 0.9%)
4. Shallots: Rp35,500 per kg (down 4.54%)
5. Bandeng Fish: Rp35,440 per kg (up 2.37%)
6. Red Chilies: Rp34,780 per kg (down 4.45%)
7. Tongkol Fish: Rp30,960 per kg (up 2.18%)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp27,900 per kg (down 2.11%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,130 per kg (unchanged)
10. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,690 per kg (down 0.17%)
