Jakarta's Current Food Prices: Oil Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (7/7/2024) at 12:25 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, shallots, Indian mackerel, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, premium rice, shallots, milkfish, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of Indian mackerel saw the highest increase, up by Rp2,540 (7.6%) to Rp35,970 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt saw the sharpest decrease, down by Rp1,490 (12.68%) to Rp10,260 per kg.

6. Shallot Bulbs: Rp40,000 per kg (down 7.75%)
7. Indian Mackerel: Rp35,970 per kg (up 7.6%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,760 per kg (down 1.03%)
9. Broiler Chicken: Rp33,450 per kg (down 9.45%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,660 per kg (down 4.39%)
