Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Salt Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (26/8/2024) at 13:31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, skipjack tuna, medium rice, fine iodized salt, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red onion, premium rice, farmer-level corn, garlic bulbs, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp730 (2.08%) to Rp35,760 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn decreased the most, by Rp490 (5.65%) to Rp8,190 per kg.
