Daily Red Chili Prices in West Sulawesi Province's Modern Markets Increased by 10.48% Over the Past Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chilies in modern markets in West Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp29,000 per kg. This price is up Rp4,500 per kg compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of red chilies in modern markets has increased from Rp26,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in modern markets in West Sulawesi over the past three months has fallen by 17.14%. According to historical records of food prices on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of red chilies in modern markets in West Sulawesi Province was traded at Rp35,000 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of red chilies in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 132.95%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2018 with a decrease of -44.67%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Sulawesi show one commodity decreased and 18 others increased. The commodity with a price decrease is Curly Red Chili.
