Central Java Food Prices, Tuesday (April 30th): What's the Price of Chicken?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (30/4/2024) at 15.11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as corn at the farmer level, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, red chili peppers, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,650 (3.66%) to Rp46,770 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,260 (3.66%) to Rp33,170 per kg.
