Today''s Food Prices in Lampung Region: Red Chili Up, Bird''s Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (August 22, 2025) at 13:36 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 increased and 10 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include corn at farmer level, large red chili, medium rice, milkfish, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as lean beef, red bird''s eye chili, bulk wheat flour, curly red chili, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase of Rp1,212 (4.58%) to Rp27,667 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird''s eye chili prices experienced the deepest decrease of Rp1,641 (4.15%) to Rp37,935 per kg.
