Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Prices of Oil, Rice, and Beef Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (8/6/2024) at 10:25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, fine iodized salt, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, red chili peppers, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of Indian mackerel saw the highest increase of Rp1,960 (6.27%) to Rp33,220 per kg. The price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the lowest decrease of Rp530 (4.34%) to Rp11,680 per kg.
