Current Food Prices in Jambi Region: Onion and Chicken Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (2/6/2024) at 10.07 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, granulated sugar, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,650 (5.91%) to Rp29,580 per kg. Red chili pepper prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp600 (1.34%) to Rp44,070 per kg.
