Today's Food Prices in Aceh: Prices of Salt, Cooking Oil, and Chicken Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at 2:34 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), milkfish, shallots, skipjack tuna, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, bulk cooking oil, fresh buffalo meat (local), broiler chicken, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest, increasing by Rp6,000 (12.0%) to Rp56,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh buffalo meat (local) decreased the most sharply, dropping by Rp5,000 (3.45%) to Rp140,000 per kg.
