Household Goods, Equipment, and Routine Maintenance Costs in Tarakan City Increased by 0.01% in June

Household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance component prices in Tarakan City in June contributed 0.01% to inflation. This is lower than the previous month's 0.12%. Among the seven inflation groups measured in this region, this group contributed 0.01% to inflation in Tarakan City.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance in Tarakan City was 103.02 in June 2024, higher than the previous month's 103.01.

Compared to the same month last year, inflation for household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance has fallen by 8.09% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, prices of inflation-contributing components in Tarakan City have grown by 0.23% (year-to-date/YTD).

Based on BPS survey data for June 2024, this group of 11 inflation components ranked sixth compared to other subgroups.

BPS recorded inflation of 0.12% month-on-month and -23.07% year-on-year in June 2024. Although lower than the previous month's inflation, this monthly inflation rate is not as high as the same period last year, which was 3.28%.
