Current Food Prices in Bali: Oil and Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (17/9/2024) at 13.13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, chicken meat, medium rice, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,210 (3.69%) to Rp33,990 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots decreased the most by Rp1,480 (5.93%) to Rp23,480 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on September 17, 2024, at 13.13 WIB.

6. Red Chili: Rp33,990 per kg (up 3.69%)
7. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,590 per kg (down 1.15%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,750 per kg (up 1.98%)
9. Shallots: Rp23,480 per kg (down 5.93%)
