Cooking Oil Prices in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets of Jambi Province is recorded at Rp20,35 thousand. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day as well as over the past week.

Compared to the price a month ago, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp20,15 thousand.

Meanwhile, in the past three months, the daily cooking oil price in Jambi's traditional markets has increased by 8.53% from the previous trading price of Rp18,75 thousand.

The record increase in daily cooking oil prices in this province was previously recorded in March 2022 with a 21.74% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2023 with an 8.85% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Jambi show two commodities decreased and 25 others increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Low Quality I Rice and Medium Quality I Rice.
