Jakarta, DKI Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Beef Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (29/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, skipjack tuna, red chilies, medium-grain rice, and shallots (bulb).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, chicken eggs, chicken meat, milkfish, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,570 (2.76%) to Rp58,360 per kg. Pure beef had the lowest price decrease of Rp1,670 (1.22%) to Rp134,910 per kg.
