Indonesia's Daily Food Price List: Onion and Oil Prices Rise (Tuesday, January 23, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (23/1/2024) at 10:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, kembung fish, dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, garlic cloves, medium rice, granulated sugar, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,010 (2.04%) to Rp50,500 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,370 (2.93%) to Rp45,390 per kg.
