The price of low-quality grade II rice in East Java was sold at Rp 11,150 per kg on Monday, March 28, 2022. Compared to other regions, the price change in this region was the highest in the last week.

According to daily monitoring of staple food commodity prices from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of low-quality grade II rice in East Java started to increase by 0.9% within a week.

Meanwhile, compared to the price 30 days prior, the price of low-quality grade II rice in this region has increased by 0.45%.

However, for the last year's data range, the selling price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in East Java has actually decreased. The previous highest record reached Rp 11,450 per kg.

For the January-March 2022 period, the price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets showed a downward trend, moving 0.45% compared to the previous month.

The price of low-quality grade II rice reached its lowest point at Rp 11,050 per kg on Monday, January 3, 2022. The highest price reached this year was around Rp 11,150 per kg.

Nationally, the price of low-quality grade II rice started to increase towards the end of 2021. The average price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets was sold at Rp 12,150 per kg, up 0.07% compared to the end of last week.
